Downtown Reno is a dynamic blend of art and business. The Truckee River is ever-present, snaking its way through the entire city. And, the small town neighborhoods fill Reno with a satisfied, at ease community.

The quality of life in the region is tough to beat. World-class skiing at over 18 world-class ski resorts, 30 gorgeous golf courses from which to choose, a diverse arts and cultural community and limitless outdoor recreational opportunities are just a few of the amenities that make our region bubble with activity.

The Reno Arch, one of the most unique entryways into the city, welcomes visitors and residents with its neon lighting recognized worldwide.

The National Bowling Stadium is architecturally exclusive. The stadium features 80 lanes and permanent seating for more than 1100 spectators.

Located downtown along the Truckee River, the Truckee River Walk features native Nevada wildlife reliefs and unique fountains year-round. The River Walk is a perfect place to take a leisurely stroll and take in the beauty that surrounds downtown Reno.

The Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden is one of the most beautiful and diverse gardens in Nevada. The arboretum has 12 acres covered with groves of trees, wetland habitats, outdoor courtyards, and secluded gardens.

Downtown Sparks hosts a hub of activities all year-round in the downtown Victorian themed Victorian Square. Some of those events include The Big Easy, Hometown Christmas Parade, Rib-Cook-Off and the summer-long Farmer's Market.

Located in the heart of downtown Sparks, the Sparks Marina. is a family beach and a place to dive, fish, or boat (but no motors please)!

Lake Tahoe, one of the most spectacular lakes in the world and the largest Alpine Lake in North America, is a short 45-minute drive from downtown Reno. Surrounded by forests and peaks, the lake is measured at 22 miles long and 12 miles wide. Only in Nevada does one find the frontier wonder that Mark Twain wrote about.

Located just 35-minutes from downtown, Virginia City lies untouched by time. Experience plank sidewalks, old-fashioned saloons and shops, and a historical graveyard.

35-miles north of Reno, Pyramid Lake boldly stands amid a stark desert setting. Pyramid Lake is home to a world-famous fishery and thousands of white pelicans that dot Anaho Island - a rocky peak several hundred acres in size.

Truckee, just beyond the border of Reno, is steeped in the history of the Donner Party, the railroad, and ice harvesting. But, the town is also lined with modern shops, galleries, and quaint inns.
